Tune in on Thanksgiving day while cozying up around the TV on November 23rd at 9 am EST.
This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency on behalf of Macy’s; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
One of the greatest moments of our New York City’s travel three years ago was when my husband took Mini to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. I still don’t know how he convinced one security guard to leave him to go up to one of the high terraces, but stepdad and stepdaughter spent several hours up there watching the show, the music, and the giant balloons parading through Manhattan’s streets.
This year we are visiting our family but that doesn’t mean we won’t watch it. On the contrary, we will be watching it -this time tuning it on a screen-, especially because this year the new opening will feature an all-star ensemble cast of celebrities from pop culture, stage and TV all singing and dancing together in an epic performance of Dancin’ in The Street! Also, as part of our first hour of festivities Gwen Stefani will perform White Christmas at the Bryant Park ice rink surrounded by fans and skaters. Even the Radio City Rockettes will be there performing! I love this family tradition.

Come join us! We plan to watch it while enjoying it with a good cup of warm coffee for the grown-ups and hot chocolate for the little ones. What is your family tradition on Thanksgiving?
