Yes! The 2016 list of world best fashion schools has been released and you might find some surprises on it.
CEOWORLD Magazine conducted a survey to find the best fashion schools in the world. To generate the list, we surveyed more than 62,000 former students, fashion houses, fashion recruitment consultants, fashion designers, and industry professionals. They investigate over 300 schools that have been ranked according to 3 factors: learning experience, influence, and value, and came up with a shortlist of 100 top fashion institutions around the word.
At the bottom on the list -which doesn’t mean this institutions are not great educational choices-, we can find schools in Russia, the Netherlands, Mexico (the only two schools from Latin American countries that qualified), Portugal, South Africa and New Zealand. Unsurprisingly, the UK appears for the 24th time on the list.
The countries with the more successful fashion and design programs are: The UK, appearing 24 on the list; USA with 20 universities and Italy following from the long distance with 6 educational programs that qualified.
Here you have the top 1o of the list:
Now you can see there are a lot of great universities around the world, so think big and wherever you decide to attend, be the best student you can. Those years will end and the more you learn, the more you will be prepared to jump into the crazy train of the world fashion business.
