One of my favorite shades in the chromatic circle get, every February, a new hype, and my heart beats faster when I see this kind of ideas to wear it all over my look: clothes, makeup, nails, accessories, shoes, bags…
You see, the passion I feel for red is not reasonable or intellectual, it just happen, like the heat waves from the Sun, or the Moon eclipses.
I can be called “wannabe Femme Fatale” by combining it with black; or hipster by using it with pink shades (remember Grandma lecturing: “you never use red and pink at the same time! The Bible says it!” Well, I sort of do remember her saying something like that).
I can feel more like a lady when I wear it with a white dress, or simply rock’n roller with jeans, chambray shirt and motorcyclist jacket.
Feeling more classic and balanced? I try red and camel.
It doesn’t matter: as a Lady Gaga’s bad romance, I just keep looking for more red options everywhere: orange red, purple red, plum , burgundy, pinkyish…
Now, looking forward the next fall, I feel exited to see clothes and nails keep a happy plum shade
So, my advice this time, my friend is: do not resist the crave for the crazy red passion you might feel (if not currently overwhelms you, ahem, ahem!). Just, like everything lovely in this life, decide to surrender and enjoy.
By the way, if you share this kind of mesmerizing feeling for red things, but definitely, you prefer to show it only to your special one, send a Burberry Kiss electronically (click here)
HAPPY VALENTINE’S YOU ALL!
